Claudia Koerver is an attorney-at-law with more than 19 years of experience in intellectual property law and a member of HOFFMANN EITLE's Trademarks and Designs practice group.
Claudia advises on all aspects of trademark, design and unfair competition law with a particular focus on the development of filing strategies for trademarks and designs, the efficient management of large trademark and design portfolios as well as the defense and enforcement of IP rights. She has extensive expertise in out-of-court dispute resolution and advises her clients with a good instinct for legally and economically sensible solutions.
She studied law at the Leibniz University of Hanover. After completing her studies and legal internships, including in Paris, she completed her legal clerkship in Berlin and Cape Town. She was admitted to the bar in 2002 and has been specializing in intellectual property law since 2004. In 2008/2009, she completed a Master's degree in “Intellectual Property Law” at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and obtained the title “Master of Laws” (LL.M.).
In her free time, Claudia is usually out in nature, either gardening or “forest bathing” and dummy sports with her dog. She enjoys reading, bouldering and traveling with friends and family.
